Tom Matzell
Creative Director, Copy

As a founding partner, Tom oversees the agency's business activities and is directly responsible for all creative work. When he isn't busy planning the next expansion of his office model railroad empire, Tom is cooking up ideas for MRW clients. His career began in TV and quickly transitioned into advertising. He has written and produced hundreds of commercials, ads, direct marketing campaigns, collateral pieces, and too many "big ideas" to count. And he's received numerous awards for his work in both print and broadcast. Tom is married with two children and too many pets.

Jim Watts
Director of Account Services

As partner, Jim Watts is responsible for all aspects of MRW's strategic planning, account management, and global alliances. He brings a unique surgical talent to MRW clients...the ability to cut through the BS and right to heart of a marketing problem. After 20-plus years in advertising and marketing, Jim has done it all: supervision of strategic marketing, media, and research programs, as well as training and development of account service personnel. Jim is married with three children, and spends much of his time reliving his youth through coaching.

Kristen Balunas
Creative Director, Art

As a partner, Kris is responsible for all MRW art direction, design and production. Every piece of work coming out of our group, including Web and interactive projects, has Kris's personal touch on it. She has nearly ten years of broad-based experience in creative direction, design, illustration, and production management working directly for client companies and with advertising and graphic design agencies. A Bachelor of Fine Arts graduate from Plymouth State College in New Hampshire, Kris has created outstanding corporate communications for such clients as Acadient, Gillette, Keurig Coffee Systems, MeetingMaker, Skyva, Viisage, Vistagy, VX, and Yantra, to name but a few. She is married with two children and, when not working, she enjoys utilizing her creative energy in her kitchen and garden.
